How to prepare saltwater and gargle with it

Add 1 teaspoon salt in 1 cup water and let it dissolve. Warm this solution. Saltwater is most effective when it is warm. Use this water to gargle at the back of the throat for as long as possible. After that swish the water around the mouth and teeth. Repeat this until all the water is finished. Spit it out and do not swallow.
It is best to spit out the saline water during infections,. Consuming too much saltwater can cause dehydration. Drinking too much salt water can also lead to calcium deficiency in the body along with high blood pressure.

Usually, it is recommended gargling for two times in a day. But you can gargle more times if you feel necessary.
